Power of Attorney

Power of Attorney is a legal document that gives someone else the power to make decisions for you. There are different types of POA, but each one allows another person to act on your behalf when you are unable to do so yourself.
This blog post will cover some basics about Power of Attorney, the different types and how they work, who can be appointed as an agent, and what happens if you have multiple people acting under your Power Of Attorney. While it's important to know what powers an agent has in order to ensure they won't abuse their role, it's also important not to forget about yourself! You may need new provisions added or revoked at any time if there is a change in circumstances.
